John - Day 1

I want to start off with John because it's a great place to start! John is the Gospel written solely and expressly for the purpose of leading people to Jesus. That is the purpose. Each day will be a chapter of just my thoughts. I welcome yours...

John 1

Vs 14, 12 “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us... and for all who believed in his name he gave the right to become children of God.” Christ with us. Not aloof in heaven watching to see how our lives play out. He walked on muddy streets and talked with us in the heat of the day. He joked with us vs47,”behold an Israelite in whom there is no deceit!” And wept with us.

Again because it bears repeating - “and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” It’s not enough to just “know” this - even the demons knew it - they will cry out “Son of God what do you want with us?!” We must accept it and let Him be Lord over our lives. He came for you, will you live for Him?
