Proverbs 30: All I Ask

Updated: May 3, 2021

A true wisdom seeker. God let me be as such. “Two things I ask of you; deny them not to me before I die: Remove far from me falsehood and lying; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is needful for me, lest I be full and deny you and say, ‘Who is the LORD?’ or lest I be poor and steal and profane the name of my God.”

That I would want what is needed and would rely on you. That I would rise up to greet you and lie down resting in the knowledge that you hold me in your hand. That I would greet each day in gratitude that I am granted the opportunity to breathe and live and do work for your kingdom. I thank you. I ask that I recognize the tasks you put before me. That I seek You first and shun all that is against you. That I would be worthy this and everyday of your blessing and the words “well done, good and faithful servant.”
