Proverbs 12:Words to Live By
Hold your tongue, Listen and don’t speak until it is wise to do so. It is not always smart to reveal everything. And be the master of your own destiny. Playbook for success 101. On the best seller list at Barnes and Noble? Nope. Right in the pages of the Bible at proverbs 12. Don’t argue with a fool vs 15 tells us for “the way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice.” You have to have tough skin vs 16 says “the vexation of a fool is known at once but the prudent ignores an insult.” (Which means there will be many). Lift your team up and don’t tear them down, verse 18”there is one whose rash words are like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.” Always have the upper hand and control your own destiny but preparing in advance! vs 23-24 “ a prudent man conceals knowledge, but the heart of fools proclaims folly. The hand of the diligent will rule, while the slothful will be put to forced labor”. But most importantly- don’t try to be something you’re not. Vs 9” better to be lowly and have a servant then to play the great man and lack bread.”
Words to live by today and everyday my friends. For the word of God is the same yesterday, today, and always; never changing.
