Isaiah 54: He Made Both

Today I was in Isaiah 54 and of all the verses that normally would have jumped out at me, this one did. Vs 16 “Behold, I have created the smith who blows the fire of coals and produces a weapon for its purpose. I have also created the ravager to destroy.”

I think we often forget that God is the creator of ALL things. We like to put Satan in a box by himself but God is his creator. He had free will just like us. But if we chose God, “no weapon fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgement. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.” Vs 17.

Chose God. He created you as well and you have a choice. He won’t put a gun to your head and make you love him. But life is better if you do!
