Exodus 11/12 Freedom

“And that very day the Lord brought the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their hosts.....about 600,000 men on foot, besides women and children.”

God is so good, God is so good, He is so good, so good to me. The final plague was brutal. The death of the first born. It crushed all of the gods of Egypt in one final blow. Only those that sacrificed the Lam and shed its blood were saved. Sound familiar? It is. The people of God were to sacrifice on the tenth day of the new month (now Palm Sunday), a “lamb without blemish” vs 5, (Christ) “when the whole congregation of Israel shall kill their lamb at twilight” and “they shall take some of the blood and put it on two of the door posts and the lintel of the houses in which they eat it” (symbolizing our being covered by the blood of Christ and Good Friday). They then will “eat the flesh that night, roasted in the fire; roasted in the fire; with unleavened bread and bitter herbs..” (the first last supper)they were also told to not break any of its bones (vs 46)😉. Jesus is everywhere!! You cannot read any part of the Old Testament and not see him! And God brought the people out of Egypt and rescued them, like he is rescuing us. He loves you he took down a nation to show you. He came down and died to show you. He let us kill him to show his love. If you haven’t - will you let him set you free like he set his people free so many years ago?
