1 Corinthians 3: The Reward

Don’t worry. If you believe in Christ Jesus and you are living for him, you are saved. You are guaranteed that. There will be a time where you will stand before God, as a saved individual, and account for your actions as a saint. You will have to. And your reward in heaven will be based on those actions. Vs 14-15 tells us “If the work that anyone has built on the foundation (Christ Jesus) survives, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer a loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire. “

This is not “saved” as in salvation saved because Christ has already paid that price. This is eternal reward saved (and now the cave of wonders and Jafar just rang through my head 🤣). It’s early, ignore my rant.

So what do we do? Well basically we can’t be lazy Christians! We can’t crawl in a hole either. Here’s the motto for the day, are you ready?

“It’s not about me!”Are you ready for the added benefit? It’s impossible to be depressed when you aren’t focusing on you! So, there you go. Focus on others FOR CHRIST today and remember - it’s not about you!

Go smile at someone, give them the benefit of the doubt, ask them what you can do for them. Listen to them. And whatever they need, do it as if you are doing it for Christ. I love you friend. Go in peace.
