1 Corinthians 1: The Foolishness of It All

“For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.” And He chose me. I am not of privileged birth. I am not a great debater and I do not have a ton of influence. I am not eloquent. But He chose me. And His word says that this is His method. Vs 27: “God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God.” We are a laughing stock to the world. And that is how it should be. And that is ok. Continue to proclaim Christ to others and stay true to the one who opened your eyes to the truth and has given you the gift of an eternal life. The one who became wisdoms for you, righteousness, sanctification and redemption so that one day you may look upon His face and bow down in worship and know that you are finally home.
